Windows into Mattapan is an initiative of the nonprofits Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH), Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation, and the Collaborative, Inc. POAH and Nuestra Communidad developed the Loop at Mattapan Station. The Loop includes 135 affordable rental apartments with housing options for a range of incomes, 10,000 square feet of commercial space, and new welcoming open spaces along the Neponset River Greenway. the Collaborative was the project’s landscape architects and created the Windows into Mattapan banners and website as a way to celebrate Mattapan residents who contribute so much to the community.
